Abstract
This research aimed to 1) develop an Electronic Document Exchange (EDE) system for electronic document registration and status tracking, and 2) evaluate the performance of the developed system. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) methodology using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as the operational framework. The sample consisted of 3 information technology experts and 30 system users selected through purposive sampling and convenience sampling, respectively. The research instruments included the developed EDE system and a five-point Likert scale questionnaire used to evaluate system performance. Data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation. The results revealed that the developed EDE system could be effectively implemented in actual operations. The system provided key functions including document registration, QR Code generation, and real-time document status tracking through LINE LIFF. The overall performance evaluation of the system was at a high level (x̄ = 4.41, S.D. = 0.35). The document tracking function received the highest mean score (x̄ = 4.65, S.D. = 0.29), followed by system usability, system design, and system security, respectively.
In conclusion, the developed EDE system enhanced the efficiency of document management, reduced operational delays, minimized the risk of document loss, and improved organizational transparency and traceability.
