Abstract
The Development of a power plug control system and display via smartphone with IoT technology aims to provide convenience in controlling and monitoring the stability of electrical current for users. It allows users to control the on/off status of the plug through a smartphone application and display electrical current data via the application. The system was developed using the NodeMCU v3 ESP8266 board, Arduino IDE software, and the Blynk application. After development, experiments were conducted and satisfaction assessments were carried out in two forms: expert satisfaction evaluation and user sample satisfaction evaluation. The results of the expert satisfaction evaluation, categorized by each aspect, showed that the equipment had the highest satisfaction level, with an average score of 4.93 and a standard deviation of 0.26. The Blynk application interface had a high satisfaction level, with an average score of 4.75 and a standard deviation of 0.45. The design of the hardware also received a high satisfaction level, with an average score of 4.58 and a standard deviation of 0.51. The results of the user sample satisfaction evaluation, categorized by each aspect, showed that the equipment had the highest satisfaction level, with an average score of 4.63 and a standard deviation of 0.58. The Blynk application interface also had a high satisfaction level, with an average score of 4.68 and a standard deviation of 0.49. The hardware design received a high satisfaction level, with an average score of 4.45 and a standard deviation of 0.65.
