This is the first issue of Thai Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (Thai JNN). This peer-reviewed international journal aims to promote works in the area of nanoscience and nanotechnology internationally. We wish to provide modern potential research information to readers which encompasses the understanding of fundamental physics, chemistry, biology and technology of nanoscale objects and how such objects can be used in the areas of computation, electronics, nanostructured materials and nano-biotechnology. For highest benefit to readers, we make sure that all works published in this journal meet high scientific quality standards, contain significant and original new science and should make substantial advances within a particular area of nanoscience and technology. We hope that, by high supporting from all readers and authors, this journal could be indexed in high standard database such as Thai Citation Index (TCI) in the future. We also plan to get this journal to high standard international database such as SCOPUS and ISI as well. We hope this journal can fulfill a high demand of knowledge dissemination in the area of nanoscience and nanotechnology which grows very rapidly nowadays.
