Development of MIAP Learning Model for Non-formal Education

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to develop of MIAP learning model for non-formal education and then, evaluate the results of the model implementation. The research procedure comprises 3 phases. Phase1 focused on the development of MIAP learning model for non-formal education. Phase 2 expanded on the construction of life skill module for non-formal education. Phase 3 was the study on the model implementation to of MIAP learning model for non-formal education. The population in this study covered the students of Phradabos School Bangkok. The sample consisted of 25 volunteer students in batch 43. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics through percentage arithmetic, mean, standard deviation, a t-test statistic, and content analysis. The results revealed that: 1) the model for non-formal Education comprised 4 main parts, i.e., input, process, product, and feedback. 2) The learning module consisted of text content, cases, and teaching media. The learning model has been installed online which can be accessed anywhere and anytime to promote life-long learning. 3) The learners’ achievement scores were statistically higher than those of pre-test scores at 0.05.
